PRESS STATEMENT Don’t Create Artificial Scarcity, Akeredolu Warns Petrol MarketersOndo State Governor, @RotimiAkeredolu , SAN, CON, has warned petroleum marketers and owners of fuel stations in the State against hoarding the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).The warning became necessary after long queues surfaced at filling stations across the state, notably in Akure, the state capital since Monday.The Governor said all petrol stations in the state should dispense fuel in their tanks to ease the people of the long hours spent at fuel stations.Consequently, Governor Akeredolu has directed the Governor’s Task Force to move around the State and deal decisively with any fuel station found hoarding the product.Signed:Richard OlatundeChief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State.May 31, 2023.

🇳🇬 REPS COMMENDS PRESIDENT TINUBU ON SUBSIDY REMOVAL 🔵The House of Representatives has commended President Bola Tinubu on his decision to remove subsidy on Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) otherwise known as petrol.This was sequel to the unanimous adoption of a motion of urgent public importance moved by a member of the House, Jimoh Olajide (APC/Lagos), at the plenary on Tuesday.The House applauded the President for his courage, asking Nigerians to be patient with the new administration.Tinubu, had, in his inaugural address on Monday said petrol subsidy is gone, a development which has largely caused panic among the citizenry.
