I was full of joy today as what has been a nightmare and constituting economic hardship for the commercially-minded people of South East, has come to reality.Christened “President Muhammadu Buhari Bridge”, the second Niger Bridge is a prayer answered for ndi Igbo and the nation at large, after so many years of appeal to Government after Government. At the commissioning and handover ceremony, held at Anambra State, I eulogized President Muhammadu Buhari as the hero of new Nigeria, not just because of his administration’s infrastructural transformation of the nation but for his commitment to the actualization of these unprecedented projects.Today, the entire Igbo nation at home and in diaspora, are excited at these largesse, even as we anticipate more from the incoming administration of His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The unity and progress of the nation is of paramount importance to all of us and we are subscribed to it.Hope Uzodimma
